(Parantap) Oh Parantap! (kshudram’ hrdyadaurbalyam’) petty weakness of heart (tyaktva) abandoning (uttishth) stand up for the battle. Translation: (Paarth) Oh Arjun! (klaibyam’) unmanliness (ma, sma, gamH) do not yield to (tvayi) in you (etat’) this (na, upapadhyte) does not befit you.
